Abstrak
Saat ini bangku belajar di sekolah belum disesuaikan dengan antropometri usia siswa. Ketidaksesuaian bangku dengan dimensi antropometri siswa akan timbul berbagai dampak antara lain kelelahan siswa. Kelelahan tersebut berdampak pada penurunan daya reaksi belajar yang sampai saat ini belum banyak dikaji. Metode penulisan ilmiah ini secara deskriptif yang ingin memaparkan prinsip desain bangku belajar di sekolah yang dikaitkan posisi duduk di kursi dan daya berfikirnya saat proses belajar mengajar. Kajian dan pembahasan ilmiah pada tulisan ini berdasarkan studi observasi ergonomis pada sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Sidoarjo Provinsi Jawa Timur,
Indonesia. Kesimpulan: 1) bahwa model bangku kelas yang ada di sekolah dasar saat ini paling sesuai digunakan untuk siswa kelas 4 (siswa usia 9 tahun); 2) bahwa bangku kelas untuk siswa sekolah dasar terbesar mengakibatkan keluhan pada: kaku di bagian leher bawah (rasa sangat sakit 6,3%), pergelangan pada tangan kanan (rasa sangat sakit 6,3%), punggung (rasa sangat sakit 13,1%), tangan kanan (rasa sakit 26,3%), siku kiri (rasa sakit 25%), dan pergelangan kaki kiri (rasa sakit 25%). Saran: gunakan bangku belajar yang ergonomis agar siswa tidak lelah dan akhirnya tidak terjadi penurunnan daya berfikir siswa.

FUTURE EDUCATION FOR TEACHERS IN THE FIELD ASPECTS OF VISUAL ARTS AND CULTURE

Given the current life that has become a sort of industry in all areas. including arts
and culture, it is necessary to further understanding of the visual arts and visual
culture. That understanding can also be acquired through formal education refers to
the visual arts and visual culture can actually be learned ill everyday life through a
variety of experiences. However, there: is a need to be considered further, that the
delivery of the theory of art in education suffer because of two contrasting
paradigms. Educational theory always put the prediction of learning outcomes to
obtain ‘something’ after learning ‘something’, whereas the theory of art prefers
‘taste’ in process ‘something’, to produce ‘something’, and cannot be predicted.
Therefore the necessary understanding of the contradictions of thinking for
teachers to study visual arteducation and visual culture that is very essential in
everyday life, as well as global and universal.

KAJlAN KETIMPANGAN PERMINTAAN INDUSTRI DAN PASOKAN PENDIDIKAN WILAYAH KOTA MAKASAR

Higher education Indonesia produce thousands of fresh graduate every year, but why
Indonesia’s economic development can’t increased gradually in the domestic
workforce. This study aims to identify the needs of the industrial needs in Makassar
and suitability supply of human resources. This research use quantitative and
qualitative purposive random sampling of 40 companies that comprise the total
number of workers in 1346 and converted to worker education at the vocational
school, high school, 03, and SI in Makassar City Region. The results of this study
explained why proportion of the sub-sector is dominated by the high school and
vocational school graduates, and a Jot of positions that should be filled by a minimum
S] or D3 were filled by high school or vocational school where they come from an
educational background is not in suit with with Indonesian Human Development Index
and MP3EI corridor Sulawesi. The ‘number of certified worker is still less than 30%, it
is far short of expectations in 2015 after Indonesia must certify the entire human
resources through the National Professional Certification. ‘

Teaching paradigm followed by teachers is reflected on their teaching strategy
used. The teaching strategy is the way that containts the steps or procedures which
are used in certain condition to reach the desired learning result achievement.
One of teaching strategies that needs to be tested for the effectiveness is called
teaching strategy of Cooperative STAD (Student Teams-Achievement Divisions).
The essence is the learners work in heterogeneous groups that emphasize more
cooperative process in their heterogeneous group either in their capability, sexes,
races and so on. and evaluation can be done by individual or group assessment. To
know the effectiveness of teaching cooperative STAD in teaching Civics Education
to the fifth grade of elementary school, as comparation, theExpository teaching
strategy is used, this strategy is very commonly used by teachers. The aim of this
research is to ditermine to test the influence of teaching strategy (cooperative
STAD and expository), emotional intelligence and learning style toward learning
result of Civics Education (PKn). This toward research is quasi experimental
research using factorial design of nonequivalent control group design. The data
then processed by using inferencial statistic with analytic technique of factorial
varian (anava) 2 x 2 x 2. The calculation result of descriptive statistic indicated
the aplication of teaching strategy of Cooperative srAD mean 65,32 gave better
influence on the learning result than the application of Expository teaching strategy
mean 56,79.

Effectiveness of learning related to the selection and use of instructional media,
The effectiveness of learning is that learning outcomes are influenced by the use
and selection of learning strategies in the learning process quality. and also
influenced by student characteristics such as talents, needs, interests, and trends or
individual choice (Degeng, 1989) as well as the varied learning styles of students
suspected influence. Students in the study had the strength characteristics and
preferences of different learning styles in the way they receive and process
information (Felder, 1996). the fact remains that learning styles affect individuals..
in obtaining and processing information (Mahela, 2(09).
The research objective for real picture of the effect of.the use of class discussions
and the different learning styles of the effectiveness of teaching social studies
class V SON Kedungcowek 2Surabaya. With a two-jane variant analysis, get the
conclusion that: I. There is a difference in the effectiveness of teaching social
studies students taught using class discussion and are taught by conventional
methods.’ F value of 81.58 compared to ‘the method in the standard 3.98 Ftabel
signifaksi 5% showed a highly significant difference. 2. There is a difference
between the effectiveness of teaching social studies students who have learning
styles diverging assimilating learning style. “Dell gy F value of 318.9 compared to
the F table 3.98 in the 5% significance level showed a highly significant
difference 3.There was no interaction effect of learning methods to learn the
effectiveness of learning styles IPS “F value of -398.97 inter compared with 3.98
in the F table significance level of 5% showed no significant interaction (non­
significant)

THE DIRECTION IN TRANSLATION TEACHING: FROM L2 TO Ll OR THE OTHER WAY AROUND

Students still have difficulty translating from EngHsh as target language
‘(TL) to Indonesian asthe source language (SL), usually meaning is not well
transmitted. The difficulty is increased when they translate from Indonesian
to English. This paper is aimed at giving an insight which direction is firstly
applied in teaching translation whether translating from English [to
Indonesian or from Indonesian to English.

PENGARUH STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN KONSTRUKTIVISTIK DAN PENGET AHUAN AWAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR METODOLOGI PENELITIAN

KORELASI PENGGUNAAN MEDIA MANEQUIN DAN MEDIA ASLI PADA PENATAAN RAMBUT·MALAM HARI

New grooming can enhance a person’s appearance or can also support the
appearance on a ‘special occasion hair styling usually using the direct or the
original media, but the media are expected to use manequin learning. Manequin
media such as head doll is used in hair styling for the evening. It is very suitable
for students or anyone in particular beauty beginners to practice .cutting, braiding”
and setting a variety of hairstyles. By using mannequin is easier for students to
practice hairdressing prior to the direct model. In this study, the population is a
hairstyling student SMKN 2 Lwnajang. The firs.t sample hairstyling XI by 14
students and students of class XI hairstyling 2 there are 11 students total 25
student. Students practice using media manequin 1 (head doll) and practice to 2 by
using the original media is friend’s head as models. The data analysis technique
used in this study is the product moment. Froin the research that the author
obtained the hair styling for-the evening between using media manequin and using
the original media can be concluded that the price chart criticism for N = 25,
significance level 0.05 = 0.396, significance level 0.01 = 0.505 and results COWlt(t
hit) = 0.998 including high interpretation. On the basis of the above research
suggests that the greater criticism of the price of hair styling for the evening there
is a correlation between the use rnanequin media and using the original media.

In many cities in the world, academics and NOOs to promote the provision
of urban education center for children, as Child Friendly City concept
proclaimed in the UNICEF draft. The purpose of this activity is to introduce
early to the children what their rights and duties to maintain the city
environment to remain. habitable. Long-term goal is to prepare children to
become citizens of a greater responsibility for living space. For that they
need to be equipped with knowledge about ‘the assets that exist in the city,
the experience of interacting with fellow citizens well with those who are
younger or older. Hence, early formed networking expected to be a stronger
social ties in the future. Social capital. will be very useful to solve the
problems that they will encounter later in the future, This study tried to
describe in empirical experiences, methods and learning processes of urban
envirorunents for children through the concept of children participation
through the school curriculum with the approach to the age group of
students, the materials that support the curriculum, using common materials
and fun, easy and piloted refers to the local and concrete issues. From this
study it was found that education about the urban environment it should be
given to children at an early age. Learning methods are very effective is to
involve children in the process of city pJanning through participation in
interesting learning at school.
