Abstrak

Era MEA is an important moment for the profession of guidance and counseling to improve themselves, to be able to become a dignified profession in formal education settings and community settings, and trusted and needed by society. To achieve this required improvement of the quality of human resources, increasing the role of Indonesian Guidance and Counseling Association as a professional organization in maintaining, enforcing and developing guidance and counseling in the homeland, as well as improving the quality of educational institutions and educators are able to produce professional counselor/teacher of guidance and counseling competent. Guidance and counseling is constructed as a science and as a profession, requires professional experts in managing and developing guidance and counseling services, are able to turn challenges into opportunities in the global community. Identity development of guidance and counseling is done on an ongoing basis, and focused on the existence of guidance and counseling as a profession are independent, credible and dignified, and the user is able to make people prosperous profession.

Abstrak

Implementasi Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG prajabatan) merupakan tonggak kemajuan pembangunan kualitas guru di tanah air bila dilaksanakan secara demokratis, objektif, terbuka, akuntabel, dan bermartabat dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan nasional sebagaimana yang diamanatkan Undang- Undang RI Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional. Model PPG prajabatan konsekutif yang dipilih pemerintah sebagai upaya untuk mengendalikan lulusan PPG yang berkualitas perlu mendapatkan dukungan dari kalangan masyarakat luas, hal ini sebagai implikasi atas semangat dan konsistensi pemerintah dalam memberikan tunjangan profesi pendidik sebesar 1 gaji pokok kepada guru yang tersertifikasi. Terdapat peluang sekaligus tantangan bagi LPTK penyelenggara dan peserta untuk berkompetitif mutu pada tingkat tinggi, merupakan fenomena penting dalam pembangunan guru di tanah air yang harus diwujudkan sebagai bagian dari pembangunan bangsa Indonesia menuju sosok suatu bangsa yang bermartabat dan memiliki daya saing tinggi pada tingkat regional, nasional, dan internasional.

Abstrak

Golden generation is a dream to be realized through a quality education for every child of the nation of Indonesia. This paper describes the concept of the establishment and development of Indonesian nation character through career counseling service based on local culture which makes independent learners towards the golden generation of 100 years of Indonesian independence. Study begins with peeling the form of a golden generation of cadres of Indonesia of the future, on the character of the Indonesian nation to be realized, the praxis of character education as an integrated part of the implementation of informal education that takes place in the family, formal education that takes place in schools and non- formal education takes place in the community as a component of the national education system, and the contribution of career counseling based on the local culture on implementation of the character education toward the golden generation of Indonesia, which ended with conclusions and recommendations.

Abstrak

Increasingly important imaging of guidance and counseling in schools, encouraging author as Regional Executive of Indonesian Guidance and Counselling Association, province of East Java, was intrigued to conduct studies in the form of writing and presenting papers of national seminar with theme on the Bounce off Revolution in Guidance and Counseling. In keeping with the theme, this paper examines the need for teachers of guidance and counseling as the main actors do a bounce off revolution in guidance and counseling by way of thinking, acting, and acting productive in the middle of his duties as an educator profession mandated by Indonesian republic law number 14 of 2005 on teachers and lecturer. Teachers of guidance and counseling who serves as custodian of expert guidance and counseling services which makes student’s autonomy as counselee, usually able to think and act in a positive and productive action in an effort to improve imaging of profession, by increasing the competence and quality of guidance and counseling services to learner/counselee, to develop themselves as a form of professional improvement sustainably, and involve themselves actively in the various activities of the profession in a container Guidance and Counselling Association of Indonesia as well as other relevant professional organizations. Abstrak

Bidan merupakan salah satu profesi dalam bidang kesehatan yang dibutuhkan masyarakat global. Di era disrupsi, profesi bidan menghadapi sejumlah tantangan yang harus dihadapi secara cerdas, dan memiliki sejumlah peluang yang harus direbut oleh pengampu profesi ini dalam upaya menjadikan bidan sebagai profesi yang mampu bersaing secara positif dan bermartabat. Kajian ini memaparkan urgensi dan praksis konseling pada profesi bidan untuk memaksimalkan kualitas layanan profesi bidan kepada pasien dalam mensejahterakan pengguna profesi ini.

Abstrak

The career choice is an important aspect in the range of individual student progress. This research aims to examine: (1) the significance of correlation between self-knowledge aspect with students‟ the patterns intensity of career choice, (2) the significance of correlation between careerknowledge aspect with students‟ the patterns intensity of career choice, and (3) significance of the correlation between self-knowledge aspect and career-knowledge aspect together with students‟ the
patterns intensity of career choice. The findings of this research indicate (1) there is a significant positive correlation between self-knowledge aspect with students‟ the patterns intensity of career choice, (2) there is a significant positive correlation between career-knowledge aspect with students‟ the patterns intensity of career choice, (3) there is a significant positive correlation between self-knowledge aspect and career knowledge aspect together with students‟ the patterns intensity of career choice, (4) self-knowledge aspect and career-knowledge aspect of significantly as a good predictor of students‟ the patterns intensity of career choice, and (5) an effective contribution of self-knowledge aspect and career-kowledge aspect towards students‟ patterns intensity of career choice was 65.1%.

Abstrak

In the process of education, students‘ career maturity is constructed as an important aspect, to be achieved as a form of success in their development. This study outlines the local culture that is framed as a strategy of changing the behavior of students through career counseling services to increase the maturity of his career. Students’ individual behavior can be shaped by local culture in which they are located, at school, in the family, or in a particular community. The local culture
which contains the values, norms, customs, and traditions that have been maintained throughout the life can be constructed by the guidance and counseling teacher or school counselor adequately as strategy or technique of changing the behavior of students through career counseling services. This will be obtained expediency useful in helping students to achieve success in career development. Career success in the educational process in the formal education materialized in
career maturity that is a maturity level of the students in the act and act intelligently in making career decisions in accordance with their interests, talents, intelligence, personality characteristics, and ideals.

Abstract

Nation’s competitiveness in today’s global era is an important part within the framework of the nation’s development towards a nation that is independent, sovereign, democratic, humane, prosperous and dignified. To create a resource that has a competitive advantage, structured efforts are needed, among others, in the form of managing the careers development of children. This study aims to develop concepts and theoretical frameworks of individual careers development that takes place in the child phase. The study begins by outlining the nature of the child’s careers development, the principles of the careers development of the child, and the child’s careers development theory. The
careers development contributes to the creation of the golden generation of children who have a competitive advantage in the global era, and ends with conclusions and recommendations.

Abstract

Needs of senior high Scool Students on a computer-based career guidance are important aspects that need to be responded positively by creating a model of adequate career guidance using computer technology as a tool. this study involved 190 senior high school students as research respondents. The results of this study indicate that the majority of the 145 students or 75.92% stated requiring career guidance of computer-based as a tools to understand the interest in majors in college; most of the 154 students or 80.63% stated requiring of career guidance of computer-based as s tool to under their talent; most of the 155 students or 81.16% stated requiring computer-based career guidance as a tool to understand the advantages and strengths of its potential; most of the 150 students or 78.53% stated requiring career guidance of computer-based as a tool to understand the weaknesses their possession; and most of the 150 students or 78.53% stated requiring career guidance of computer-based as a tool to select the departemen/program of study in college.

Abstract

Islamic senior high school students’ career prospects are an important issue to be studied in the global society. The study was conducted through a descriptive survey study involving 188 senior high school students of the eleventh-grade of Islamic educational institutions in the region of Surabaya. The research data was collected by using questionnaire method and analyzed with descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The findings of this study show that 90.96% of respondents regard that Islamic career prospects are good based on the criteria of promotion, 87.77% of respondents regard that Islamic career prospects are good based on the criteria of aspirations, 83.51% of respondents regard that Islamic career prospects
are good based on the criteria of career goals, 80.32% of respondents regard that Islamic career prospects are good based on the criteria of compensation, and 72.87% of respondents regard that Islamic career prospects are good based on criteria of sustainability.
