Abstract: Learning activities of physical education in school are always related to clear objectives . The general objective of physical education can be classified into four groups: ( 1 ) physical development, ( 2 ) the development of motion, ( 3 ) mental development and , ( 4 ) social development.Through physical education it is expected to stimulate the development of balance attitudes, mental, social, emotional and motor skills of students . They are of importance role in physical education in schools. They must be taught properly including the passing of volley ball learning. The type of research was a true experimental research , conducted in UNESA Kawung High School Of Surabaya. It used a pretest – posttest control group design. The instrument was used to measure the accuracy of lower wall passing test . They were four groups ; experimental group 1 with learning volleyball lower passing, with drill techniques experiment, group 2 with partner technique, experiment 3 with Audio Video and Control group without treatment . Data obtained from the initial test and final test were processed and statistically analyzed by ANOVA using SPSS for windows with a significance level of 95 %. The results showed that F measured of all group, experimental group of drill F measured : 7254 is higher than F table : 4,26 . p value = 0.023 <0.05 paired groups count F measured : 0374 < F table : 4,26 . P value = 0.554 > 0.05 audio video group F measured : 4773 > F table : 4,26 .0048 P value <0.05 it can be concluded that there are significant differences in the probability of 0,05 before and after treatment and group drills are the most effective approach in lower passing of volleyball learned.
