The research was distributed by the learning motivation of students, independent attitude as well as the results of student learning. Students who have high motivation and independent attitude was able to obtain good results.The importance of motivation and independent attitude in order to, among others, formed the change towards a better learning. Formulation of the problem in this research is “Whether there is a connection between learning motivation and independent attitude towards the results of learning math grade VIII à Surabaya SMP 21” formed among others so that there is a change towards a better learning. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship of the learning motivation and attitudes with student learning results content function class VIII A in Surabaya SMP 21 school year 2016/2017.The collection of data obtained using question form and test.From the regression test results conducted so obtained, first: there is a relationship of motivation towards learning outcomes students on class function material VIII A in Surabaya SMP 21, second: there is a relationship of independent attitude towards the learning results of students on the material class function VIII A in Surabaya SMP 21, and third: there is a relationship of motivation and attitudes towards independent student learning results content function class VIII A in Surabaya SMP 21.
